Stand-up with stethoscope and sharp timing

Doc Caro combines medical expertise with personal stage presence, direct address, and pointed humor. Instead of dry medical jargon, there are understandable explanations, surprising aha moments, and stories from the world of heart, brain, gut, and emergency medicine. The timing is as precise as a well-placed pulse.

Why seven meters of intestine are funnier than expected

Is sugar really that dangerous? Why does a human need seven meters of intestine? And is life perhaps more relaxed without a gallbladder? Doc Caro takes these questions seriously, but not too seriously. The show makes anatomy tangible, transforms everyday medical riddles into entertaining cabaret moments and shows: health sometimes starts with a laugh.

Life-related, honest, and energetic

The comedy atmosphere arises from an unusual mix: medical expertise, personal stories, interaction, and a clear view of the preciousness of life. As a specialist in anesthesiology, emergency medicine physician, TV personality, and bestselling author, Doc Caro brings experience from the clinic, emergency services, and media to the stage. The result is a laughter experience with substance - entertaining, direct, and occasionally as surprising as a diagnosis you’d rather not Google.

From TV success directly to the live experience

Known from the VOX series Doc Caro – Every Life Matters and her medical media formats, Dr. Carola Holzner converts complex topics into understandable entertainment. Her books have quickly reached the SPIEGEL bestseller list according to her official artist page. In Göttingen, the audience experiences the doctor live: with punchlines, medical facts, honest emotions, and a stage energy that even sends the inner slacker for an examination.
