Paul Panzer brings the new world to Göttingen
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, Paul Panzer transforms the Lokhalle Göttingen into a humorous crisis center. With his new stage program Beautiful New World - welcome to hell, the comedian targets the big questions of the present: artificial intelligence, digital illusions, virtual love, and the insatiable urge for more.
Between Progress and Madness
Paul Panzer views modern society with fine humor, pointed self-irony, and his distinctive stage character. What shines, glitters, and is sold as progress is put to the test by him. From digital visions, human contradictions, and everyday overwhelm, a comedy evening emerges with surprising perspectives and a high hit rate.
A Stage Full of Energy and Self-Irony
His stage performance thrives on precise timing, physical comedy, and a direct connection to the audience. Paul Panzer oscillates between social observation, absurd leaps of thought, and pointed stories. The live atmosphere of the Lokhalle provides the fitting backdrop: a distinctive event hall with industrial history where laughter, applause, and quick punchlines have an immediate effect.
From Modern Sisyphus to Audience Favorite
In his new program, Paul Panzer embarks on a quest for meaning in the dilemma of progress as a modern Sisyphus. The comedian has been an integral part of the German TV and stand-up scene for years. He rose to fame, among other things, through his distinctive artistic persona, numerous comedy formats, and over 800 recorded prank calls. In 2007, he received the German Comedy Prize.
