When a secret tests the friendship

A door opens, a sentence is dropped - and suddenly life is turned upside down. With Secrets (Secret.s), the German Theatre Göttingen presents a sharp comedy by Sébastien Blanc in the German translation by Georg Holzer. On October 15, 2026, a comedic chamber play about lies, truths, rivalry, and loyalty begins in dt.x.

Comedy with dangerously much truth

Fabian receives a secret that would have been better kept hidden. But anyone who knows people knows: secrets have an astonishing stage presence. They sit quietly in the corner and then jump right into the action at exactly the wrong moment. Sébastien Blanc combines spontaneity and madness with precise timing and a turbulent dynamic between friends and brothers.

Punchlines between closeness and distrust

The play thrives on rapid twists, sharply drawn dialogues, and the question of how much truth a friendship can bear. Between cabaret intimacy, classical comedy, and emotional chamber play, a comedic atmosphere emerges where every silence seems suspicious. Audience reactions are likely to occur particularly where a small excuse becomes a full-fledged life lie.

An evening at the German Theatre Göttingen

The performance takes place in the dt.x of the German Theatre Göttingen. The intimate space suits the material: Every glance counts, every hesitation gains weight, and every punchline lands with the precision of a well-placed jab. The result is an entertaining laughter experience for all who enjoy comedies with pace, interaction, and human depths.

Conclusion: Laugh before someone tells the truth

Secrets (Secret.s) promises a theatre evening full of surprises, clever punchlines, and nervous friendship maintenance. Those who want to know what Fabian does with his secret should experience the comedy live - where a wrong sentence immediately triggers the next catastrophe.
