When a secret takes the stage, no laugh is safe

A door, a hidden detail, and suddenly life is out of rhythm: On October 25, 2026, a sharp comedy by Sébastien Blanc titled Secrets (Secret.s) will be on the program at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen. The German version is by Georg Holzer and combines chamber play, mistaken identity comedy, and sharp stand-up timing into a turbulent laughter experience.

Between life lies and open cards

Fabian tries to keep entrusted secrets safe and navigate through an increasingly absurd situation unscathed. But Éric is hiding in the bathroom, encounters can't be avoided any longer, and from every well-intentioned silence, the next catastrophe grows. The play delightfully plays with spontaneity, madness, truth, and the little lies that quickly transform relationships into a comedic emergency room.

One actor, two twin brothers, double chaos

The unique stage trick: the opposing twin brothers are portrayed by just one actor. This creates a precisely choreographed mix of interaction, physical comedy, and lightning-fast role changes. The timing is spot on, the punchlines come with surgical precision, and each new revelation increases the tension in the room.

French comedy art with perfect timing

Sébastien Blanc is an actor, director, and author. Secret.s premiered in 2024 at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Paris and had its German-language premiere in 2025 at the Theater Heilbronn. Blanc also co-wrote other plays with Nicolas Poiret, including Deux mensonges et une vérité, which was nominated for the Molière in 2018.
