Boppin' B bring the Rock'n'Roll to Göttingen
On October 23, 2026, the EXIL in Göttingen will transform into a bubbling Rock'n'Roll club: Boppin' B stands for energetic stage performance, driving double bass, and the unmistakable sound of a band that has been shaping the German Rockabilly scene since 1985.
Four decades between Rockabilly, Swing, and Punk
Boppin' B started as a school project in Aschaffenburg and has developed into one of Germany's most enduring live bands. Over 6,000 concerts, numerous tours across Europe, and an extensive discography mark an extraordinary career. Their music combines the roots of 1950s Rock'n'Roll with Swing, Ska, Punk, and Pop.
A live sound with maximum energy
At the center is a precise interplay of guitar, drums, double bass, saxophone, and vocals. Michi Bock leads as singer and guitarist through a concert that oscillates between rough Rockabilly drive, springy Swing, and fast rhythm changes. The stage performance thrives on direct audience closeness, crisp synchronization, and a live atmosphere that moves from the very first beat.
New music and proven stage passion
With the album Solid as a Rock, the band presented a work with exclusively original compositions in 2025. The current sound consistently continues the long history of Boppin' B: distinctive guitars, powerful drums, melodic saxophone lines, and a double bass that visibly brings the rhythm into the space. Live, this creates a Rock'n'Roll fireworks of high tempo and joy of playing.
Rock'n'Roll experience in EXIL
The concert at EXIL provides the perfect setting for the band's immediate, physical sound. Amidst club acoustics, flickering stage lights, and danceable energy, long-time fans meet curious discoverers of the genre. Boppin' B plays music that does not stay distant but pulls the audience directly into the rhythm.
Conclusion: An evening for everyone who wants to dance live
Boppin' B combines musical experience, craftsmanship precision, and unbridled joy of playing. Anyone who wants to experience Rock'n'Roll, Rockabilly, and an intense audience atmosphere should not miss this concert at EXIL. Göttingen will get an evening full of groove, movement, and real stage energy.
