Experience Rhythm: Ibs Sallah invites you to the Drum Workshop at Forum Wissen
On November 14, 2026, Forum Wissen in Göttingen will be the meeting point for all who want to experience West African drum music firsthand. In the one-hour workshop with musician, master drummer, and music educator Ibs Sallah, technical fundamentals, the language of the drum, and various rhythms will be the focus.
When Rhythm Becomes a Shared Experience
From 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, a vibrant learning and sound atmosphere will be created in the activity room on the first floor. Participants will discover how individual hits create a sustaining groove and how timing, dynamics, and synchronization shape the communal play.
