The ensemble cites, among others, Vulfpeck, Nils Landgren & Funk Unit, The Yellowjackets, Stevie Wonder, and Billy Cobham as stylistic references.

Instrumental groove meets changing voices

Lineup with Göttingen all-star power

On drums is Christian Archontidis, Fabian Haller takes the trombone. Mats Hess plays guitar, Stephan Joede the electric bass, and Uwe Meile the keyboard. Together they form a flexible live sound that combines funk accents, soul feeling, jazz harmony, and rock pressure.

Live atmosphere in the historic cellar club

The Nörgelbuff is located in a historic cellar vault in the center of Göttingen. The intimate club atmosphere brings the audience and stage closely together: Every break, every bass line, and every spontaneous musical idea reaches the space immediately. This closeness makes the monthly Buffday a unique concert experience.
