Playtime in Göttingen: Stage clear for acoustic discoveries
On Monday, October 26, 2026, the Nörgelbuff in Göttingen will once again be transformed into an open resonance space for music, texts, and spontaneous stage moments. At the playtime, concentrated live atmosphere meets the immediate charm of an unplugged Open Stage.
Quiet tones, great closeness
The playtime thrives on direct communication: voices, acoustic instruments, and the audience's reaction are at the center. Without elaborate technical staging, a concert experience emerges, characterized by warmth, dynamism, and surprising twists. Singer-songwriters, musicians, poets, and spontaneous stage personalities find space here for their own songs, covers, texts, and new ideas.
Open stage for the Göttingen scene
Anyone who wants to perform can sign up for a slot on the event evening. Thus, the program develops in the moment: first performances encounter experienced acts, finished pieces meet sketches, and individual contributions grow into a shared musical evening. The open structure makes each edition of the playtime unique.
The Nörgelbuff as a fitting sound space
This traditional live club is located in a historic vaulted cellar in the heart of Göttingen. The intimate room acoustics support the unplugged character of the event and place stage performance, text clarity, and musical interaction at the center. Between bar, stage, and audience, a relaxed audience atmosphere emerges, in which spontaneous collaborations work particularly well.
Free entry and open to curious ears
The playtime is announced as an event with free entry. The start is planned for 9:00 PM. This makes the evening suitable for anyone looking for new voices from the local scene, wanting to perform themselves, or wanting to experience acoustic live music in an immediate club atmosphere.
Anyone wishing to not only observe Göttingen's creative music scene from a distance but to experience it live will find the right place at the playtime: go, listen, discover - and perhaps become part of the evening yourself.
