BEIFANG: The Overlooked Becomes Visible
The annual exhibition of BBK Südniedersachsen is dedicated to a term that unfolds a surprising tension between ecology, society, and art. From October 17 to November 15, 2026, 31 artists will showcase works at the Künstlerhaus Göttingen that bring the unintended, the random, the overlooked, and the excluded to the center of artistic observation.

In fishing, bycatch refers to marine animals that are unintentionally caught in nets and often not utilized.
