Creative Crafting Fun for Kids at the Geismar City Library
On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Geismar branch of the Göttingen City Library will transform into a creative workshop for children. From 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Nigora Ahmedova invites you to an imaginative crafting afternoon based on her craft book Crafting Without Words.
Crafting Without Reading Frustration
Pictorial instructions make the entry particularly easy: Even children who cannot read yet will discover their own creative projects step by step. Fun butterflies, cute foxes, and cheeky birds will come to life from paper and craft materials. The event is ideally aimed at children aged four and up, preschoolers, and early readers.
Creativity That Leads Directly to Action
The focus is on trying things out for oneself. The clear images in the craft book provide guidance while children independently develop their ideas and create individual works of art. This event experience combines playful learning, fine motor skills exercises, and collaborative creative work in the familiar atmosphere of a library.
With Nigora Ahmedova and Digital Crafting Aids
Nigora Ahmedova presents crafting ideas from her book and brings practical experience from working with children. Each instruction comes with an exclusive video from Crafting with Nigora, which can be used as an additional crafting aid or for direct participation. The organization by the Göttingen City Library creates an accessible approach to a family-friendly cultural and educational offering.
An Afternoon for Little Explorers
The atmosphere comes alive through shared crafting, curious looks, and the beautiful moment when a simple template turns into a unique work. The ambiance of the Geismar branch provides a calm yet stimulating setting for this. Parents and children experience a creative library visit with personal support and many success moments.
Conclusion
At the crafting event in the Geismar branch, families can expect a free, varied afternoon filled with imaginative motifs, understandable pictorial instructions, and plenty of room for their own ideas. Those looking to give children joy in crafting and cultural learning spaces will best experience this event live at the city library.
