An hour full of picture book stories in Geismar
When Ina Laengner reads at the Geismar Branch, the city library becomes a warm meeting place for children and families. On November 5, 2026, at 16:00, a literary door opens to various picture book stories – free of charge, no registration required, and as long as seats are available.
Reading as a literary experience
The reading combines voice, language, and images to provide immediate access to literature. In the cozy reading corner, a focused reading atmosphere is created, where children do not just hear stories, but experience them with imagination, attention, and linguistic feeling.
Picture books, linguistic art, and shared attention
Picture book stories create an initial access to literary narratives and promote reading enjoyment, language comprehension, and imagination. The storytime in Geismar thus stands for vibrant reading promotion: accessible, communal, and right in the everyday life of the library.
An afternoon for children and families
The Geismar branch of the Göttingen city library provides the perfect setting for this author encounter and the shared library visit. Among books and a calm atmosphere, a small cultural experience is created that appeals to young literature lovers as well as parents and accompanying adults.
Conclusion
The reading at the Geismar Branch promises a lovingly designed hour with picture book stories, linguistic art, and shared imagination. Families are invited to be part of it live on November 5, 2026, and experience the special closeness of a storytime at the library.
