Discover Reading Treasures: Small Book Sale in Grone
On Thursday, November 19, 2026, the Göttingen City Library invites you to a small book sale at the Grone branch. Under the motto of giving Grone's media a new home, visitors can expect a diverse selection of discarded library stock and book donations at small flea market prices.
Literary Diversity for Cozy Autumn Days
While browsing through the book boxes, the entire regional variety of reading material is on display: thrillers for exciting evenings, novels to immerse in, non-fiction for curious minds, and children's stories for the youngest readers. Among familiar titles and surprising finds, many books are waiting to be rediscovered.
Sustainable Shopping with a Library Character
The book sale combines sustainable reuse with a vibrant library culture. Discarded media and donated books remain in the reading cycle and find a new home. For market-goers, families, literature enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys browsing through used books, a relaxed shopping experience with a literary focus is created.
Opening Hours and Visit
The small book sale takes place on Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grone branch. Additionally, the offer is accessible during opening hours on Mondays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Participation is free, and registration is not required.
