Film Art at Cinema LUMIÈRE: An Evening Between Tension and Social Resonance
On Monday, October 19, 2026, the cinema LUMIÈRE in Göttingen invites you to an atmospheric evening of sophisticated cinema. At 5:30 PM, the German thriller Corpus Delicti is on the agenda – a concentrated film experience for all who see cinema as a cultural resonance space and a shared stage experience.
A Cinema Hall as a Thinking Space
For decades, LUMIÈRE has shaped Göttingen's film culture with a curated program of European productions, documentaries, original versions, and socially relevant content. The presentation on the screen combines precise imagery, dramatic condensation, and a focused theatrical atmosphere, where every lighting mood and every change of acoustics becomes part of the experience.
Corpus Delicti: Tension with Social Resonance
With Corpus Delicti, the audience can expect a German thriller with a runtime of around 103 minutes. The film unfolds its effect through the tension between individual freedom, social order, and moral responsibility. The dramatic structure not only leads through a conflict-ridden plot but also opens a space for reflection on control, conscience, and the limits of an ostensibly perfect system.
Audience Experience in the Program Cinema
In the small, characterful cinema hall, a closeness is created that gives the film particular intensity. The dimmed light before the start, the clear acoustics, and the concentrated audience reaction create that special atmosphere that distinguishes sophisticated program cinema from a routine cinema visit. After the credits, the material remains as a mental echo in the room.
