Film Art at Lumires: An Evening for Strong Images and New Perspectives
The Lumière Cinema Program invites you to a film screening at the Göttingen art house cinema on Thursday, November 19, 2026. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, a concentrated art experience unfolds in the historic Lumière cinema, blending moving images, social observation, and aesthetic experience.
The Unique Atmosphere of the Art House Cinema
The Lumière cinema represents a carefully curated film culture beyond the mainstream. In the darkened hall, light, sound, editing, and acting combine for an immediate viewing of the work. The exhibition atmosphere gives way to a cinematic spatial impact, where every frame, every color nuance, and every shift in perspective gains meaning.
Film as Cultural Education
A film screening at the art house cinema opens up access to contemporary film art, documentation, and international storytelling. Lumière merges cultural education with sophisticated entertainment and creates space for reflection. The selection of the cinema program targets visitors who wish to experience cinematic forms attentively and consider social issues from different perspectives.
Admission and Cinema Visit
Admission begins 30 minutes before the start of the show. The regular ticket costs 9 euros, reduced tickets for students, trainees, unemployed individuals, and guild pass holders cost 8 euros. The event takes place on site at the Lumière cinema.
Conclusion: Experience Film Art Live
The Lumière Cinema Program promises a concentrated evening with moving images, intense spatial impact, and cultural stimulation. Anyone wishing to experience the aesthetic power of cinema and the unique atmosphere of a Göttingen art house cinema should note this date and attend the film screening live.
