Dice, Fantasy, and Adventure at the Göttingen City Library
On Monday, November 9, 2026, the Göttingen City Library, in collaboration with the Dragon Legion, invites you to an open Pen & Paper gaming session. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the youth library on the first floor will transform into a meeting place for creative stories, exciting decisions, and shared dice rolls.
Creating Stories Together
Pen & Paper combines narrative imagination, tactical decisions, and collaborative gameplay. At the table, characters, adventures, and surprising twists emerge through the ideas of the entire group. Dice, paper, and imagination become the most important tools of a unique event experience.
Open Gaming Session for Beginners and Experienced Players
The event is aimed at both beginners and experienced role players aged ten and older. Those unfamiliar with the hobby will find an easy access point. Experienced participants will meet new players and experience the dynamics of shared adventures.
Event Atmosphere Between Books and Dice
In the youth library, a focused yet open atmosphere will be created. Amidst books, game materials, and imaginative narratives, the meetup connects literature, gaming, and social interaction. The organization by the Göttingen City Library and the collaboration with the Dragon Legion create an appropriate setting for a creative gaming afternoon.
Low-Threshold Event Planning
The open nature of the event makes participation particularly straightforward: registration is not required. Interested individuals can simply drop by as long as there are available spots. The event aims at youths, families, gaming fans, and anyone who wants to experience analog role-playing games in a social setting.
Conclusion
The open Pen & Paper meetup promises imaginative stories, exciting dice rounds, and new contacts at the Göttingen City Library. Admission is free, and registration is not necessary. Those who want to experience role-playing games live at the gaming table will find a direct and friendly entry point here.
