Multipurpose Hall Arena Beautiful View | Parking & Seating
The multipurpose hall Arena Beautiful View is one of the most versatile municipal event venues in Zella-Mehlis. The city describes it as a well-equipped multipurpose hall for sporting events, concerts, readings, youth initiation ceremonies, craft and flea markets, as well as for corporate and birthday celebrations. This fits a location that not only functions as a hall but also connects sports facilities, outdoor areas, and functional ancillary rooms. For visitors, this is particularly practical because various formats can be organized here, from small meetings to larger events. Official city documents mention 400 seats in various seating arrangements and up to 750 authorized persons. Additionally, there is a stage, catering room, artist entrance, and functional rooms available. Those looking for the arena will find it at Gewerbestraße 3a in 98544 Zella-Mehlis, with good accessibility via road, bus, and train. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
Events, Program, and Typical Use
The Arena Beautiful View is explicitly designated in the city information for sports events, concerts, readings, youth initiation ceremonies, craft and flea markets, as well as anniversaries. This wide range makes the hall interesting for clubs, schools, initiatives, and private hosts. Those looking for a current program should not only search for the hall name but also for keywords such as event, reading, senior sports festival, or author reading, as these terms frequently appear in the official announcements from the city and the region. For example, the arena was used for a senior sports festival with an open participation program and for a scenic reading in autumn 2025. This shows that the hall is not fixed to a single purpose but is open to encounters, culture, and movement alike. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
Sporting formats are also firmly anchored in the profile of the hall: The city reported on police sports festivals, athletics competitions, and other club events in the arena. Additionally, there are cultural and social events, such as panel discussions on the role of the media or joint events of the city libraries. From an SEO perspective, this is important because seekers using terms like program, events, reading, sports festival, or meeting mean exactly this diversity of use. Thus, the arena is not just a gym but a multifunctional place where culture, movement, and citizenship come together. Those considering the location for their own event thus gain a stage suitable for both large public appointments and focused event formats. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/blog/polizeisportfest-in-der-arena-schoene-aussicht?utm_source=openai))
Those looking for tickets or seats must always consider the respective organizer for this location, as the official city page refers to the event itself and the city tourism with ticket service, not to a single fixed hall operator. Practically, this means: For many dates, it is worthwhile to check the city’s event calendar, the announcements from the South Thuringia central region, or the tourist information. This way, readings, panels, or sports events can be found in time while the arena serves as a reliable infrastructure in the background. Especially with search queries using words like tickets, program, or today, it is therefore important to check the specific date and not just the hall name. This prevents misunderstandings and leads more quickly to the suitable event. ([tourismus.zella-mehlis.de](https://tourismus.zella-mehlis.de/service-touristinfo-zm/a-z))
Facilities, Floor Plan, and Seating Capacity
The official documents make the size of the arena very clear: It is a two-field hall with 968 m², which can be divided into 1/3 and 2/3 by a partition curtain. In the city overview, the hall is described with 400 seats, while up to 750 people are allowed. This combination is particularly important for search queries regarding seating plans, seating arrangements, and capacity, as the arena is thus suitable for both seated events and sporting or mixed formats. Those only looking for images typically want to answer this question: How does the hall look inside, how much space is there, and is the setting rather compact or generous? The answer from the city data is clear: The arena is flexible, large, and designed for different uses. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
In addition, the facilities include an elevated stage with 80 m² of stage area, a separate artist entrance, and a kitchen and storage room for catering. These are real advantages for organizers because the process in the background becomes significantly easier. Technically interesting is also that the sports facility management plan mentions installations for lighting and sound technology, ambient lighting, as well as trusses on the ceiling and in front of the stage. This creates an environment that is equally suitable for presentations, readings, celebration formats, and sports events. Those planning the arena as an event location therefore think not only of seating but also of direction, setup, catering, and delivery. Especially for larger formats, this combination of room height, technical infrastructure, and flexibly separable hall is an important argument. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/download-archiv/sslp_zm_2024-04-16_mit-anlage.pdf))
In addition to the main area, the Arena Beautiful View has a club and gymnastics room with mirrors and a screen covering 96 m². According to the city page, this area offers 40 to 60 seats and is suitable for seminars, lectures, meetings, or family celebrations. Additionally, there are a sauna, weight room, functional rooms, and a relaxation room for 12 people. These ancillary rooms significantly expand usability because not every event needs the large hall space. For clubs and groups, this means more flexibility for training, meetings, or smaller programs. For search queries regarding room, floor plan, and facilities, this combination is particularly relevant because the arena is not only a large multifunctional hall but also a place for finer formats and accompanying use. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
Access and Parking at the Arena Beautiful View
The access to the Arena Beautiful View is well documented in the official documents. The location is at Gewerbestraße 3a in Zella-Mehlis, and the sports facility management plan describes the transport connection via A 71, exit industrial area East, bus, train, and car. This is a strong signal for visitors because the hall is thus well accessible not only for local guests but also for arrivals from the region. Therefore, those searching for the arena will find a location that is integrated into the transport network and not located in a remote area. Especially for events with several hundred guests, this is an important advantage because arrival, departure, and logistics become easier to plan. For the SEO keywords access and parking, the city thus provides a very clear basis. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
Regarding parking, the sports facility management plan specifies concrete numbers: 68 car parking spaces, 1 bus parking space, 2 disabled parking spaces, and parking spaces for bicycles. The tourist information also adds that almost all parking areas in Zella-Mehlis are free of charge and only a few places charge parking fees. For an event hall, this is a real plus because visitors can calculate their arrival more easily. Especially search queries using the term parking often aim to quickly understand whether one can park directly at the location or if longer distances need to be planned. The arena scores here with a clear and practical parking situation. This relieves organizers, guests, and helpers, especially when multiple groups arrive simultaneously or when buses are additionally in use. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/download-archiv/sslp_zm_2024-04-16_mit-anlage.pdf))
Even for special events, the topic of access plays a role. In a city announcement regarding the senior sports festival, the event was explicitly described as barrier-free, and existing parking spaces were pointed out; additionally, a bus was organized from Schleusingen. While this is not a general parking concept for every single event, it shows how the arena is used in practice. For visitors, this is a good sign because the hall can flexibly respond to different target groups organizationally. Those searching for the arena with keywords like access, parking space, or barrier-free will thus find not only the address but also indications that arrival and access are usually taken into account. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/blog/vom-lokalen-impuls-zur-regionalen-zusammenarbeit-seniorensportfest-im-oberzentrum-suedthueringen?utm_source=openai))
Outdoor Area, Sports Facilities, and Club Operations
The Arena Beautiful View consists not only of the hall building but also of a large outdoor area. The city mentions a main square of 64 x 103 m, a grass playing field for soccer and handball, a 400-meter running track, and five short-distance running tracks with synthetic surfaces, as well as shot put facilities, javelin throw facilities, long jump facilities, and a small field for basketball, volleyball, and handball, as well as a high jump facility. There is also a kickabout area and a tennis court. For sport-oriented search queries, this is important because the arena is thus much more than just a multipurpose hall: it is a fully-fledged sports facility with outdoor areas that enable competitions, training, and club activities. This connection between hall and open space shapes the character of the location. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
In the current municipal planning, the facility also plays an important role. The sports facility management plan describes the arena as a place of regular use by clubs, public-law entities, and private providers. It is explicitly stated that the hall is rented for tournaments, fairs, meetings, events, and private individuals; school sports do not take place there. This shows how clearly the location logic of the city is structured: The arena is a flexible multipurpose hall for various target groups, but with a clear focus on club, event, and special uses. For SEO and user intentions, this means that terms like capacity, club, fair, or event actually fit the real profile of the location. Thus, the arena is not just a name but an actively used municipal component in the sports and event network of Zella-Mehlis. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/download-archiv/sslp_zm_2024-04-16_mit-anlage.pdf))
The public perception of the arena is also shaped by sporting and social events. The city reported, for example, on a police sports festival in the arena, on athletics competitions with participants from all over Germany, and on a joint senior sports festival of several cities. This gives the facility a profile that goes far beyond normal hall operations. It is a meeting point, competition venue, and place of encounter in one. Those searching for photos, images, or impressions usually mean exactly this mix: a functional hall, a usable outdoor area, and a place where sports and event culture in South Thuringia can be experienced very concretely. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/blog/polizeisportfest-in-der-arena-schoene-aussicht?utm_source=openai))
Booking, Contact, and Practical Information
For practical use, the city of Zella-Mehlis is the most important contact. On the official multipurpose hall page, the arena is listed with the address Gewerbestraße 3a, 98544 Zella-Mehlis; in the same city overview, Ms. Kühhirt is named as the contact person in the Department of Citizen Participation, Sports, Culture, and Leisure. This is helpful for organizers, clubs, and private individuals who want to inquire about the hall for a tournament, celebration, or cultural format. Therefore, those looking for tickets, booking, or reservation should always check whether the event is directly managed by the city, a club, or an external organizer. The arena itself is the infrastructure; the specific date often runs through the respective organizer. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
Additionally, the tourist information Zella-Mehlis refers to an event and ticket service. This is particularly useful for search queries regarding tickets because many visitors first look for a central point of contact before they know the individual organizer. The city also keeps the official regulations for cultural and sports facilities bundled, including seating regulations, usage regulations, and fee regulations. This is important for organizers because it makes usage, rules, and costs transparently regulated. Therefore, those seriously planning to use the Arena Beautiful View should not only look at search results or images but also read the official administrative information. This way, misunderstandings can be avoided, and the specific use can be prepared cleanly. ([tourismus.zella-mehlis.de](https://tourismus.zella-mehlis.de/service-touristinfo-zm/a-z))
For public events, it is also worthwhile to pay attention to the respective notice text. For the senior sports festival, for example, it was recommended to bring gym shoes; similar practical details are mentioned directly in the announcement for other dates. This shows that while the arena has a fixed address and a clear basic equipment, the operational organization varies depending on the format. Therefore, anyone planning a visit should always check the date, time, type of event, and any notes on clothing, access, or catering. This is exactly what makes the arena user-friendly in practice: it is large enough for public highlights and flexible enough for the small, specialized details that make an event enjoyable. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/blog/vom-lokalen-impuls-zur-regionalen-zusammenarbeit-seniorensportfest-im-oberzentrum-suedthueringen?utm_source=openai))
Photos, Images, and the First Impression on Site
Those searching for photos or images of the Arena Beautiful View usually want to quickly understand how the location appears. The official city pages and event announcements show the arena in the context of sports, culture, and encounters: sometimes as a hall for readings or panels, sometimes as a venue for sports festivals, sometimes as part of the large sports facility with outdoor areas. This mix helps with orientation because images alone are often not enough to capture the size and character of a multipurpose hall. The arena does not appear like any ordinary hall but as a municipal place with a clear function, visible outdoor area, and many possible uses. Those using search terms like photos, images, or impressions usually seek exactly this initial classification. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
The first impression is primarily created here by the combination of hall space, stage, ancillary rooms, and outdoor area. The official description states 400 seats, a separable two-field hall, a stage with stage area, catering room, artist entrance, and additional rooms like sauna, weight room, and relaxation room. Outdoors, there are the running track, jumping facilities, grass playing field, and small field. Therefore, those viewing images of the arena can very well understand that it is a facility with multiple levels of use. This is exactly what makes the location interesting for organizers: One does not only receive a hall but a total area that can be used in various ways. This is a strong argument for all who want to visually orient themselves in advance. ([zella-mehlis.de](https://zella-mehlis.de/freizeit/aktiv-in-der-stadt/mehrzweckhallen))
The verified official sources primarily focus on usage data, event examples, and equipment details. This is even an advantage for practical research because it allows the most important questions to be answered quickly: How many seats are there, which events fit in, where can one park, and how is the hall accessible? Those still searching for images should use the city hall page and the city’s posts about events as the first anchor because there the arena appears in its real context. This way, a simple image search becomes a meaningful preliminary check of the location. The Arena Beautiful View is thus not just a name on the map but a clearly defined, municipally used event venue with real function in the urban life of Zella-Mehlis.
I can recommend this hall for events. Plenty of parking around. One star less because there was no coffee or other beverage vending machine. There was a caterer and a non-alcoholic drinks cart for the event. Well, there was a queue and it cost a bit more.
