Cute, perfectly clean and charming room. It was small (single room) but had a huge window with an amazing view. The owner drove me to the train station and helped me get my backpack to and fro the room due to an unexpected injury. She really went above and beyond!! Nice breakfast too! I’ll definitely be back!

Nice clean place no air con but not a problem

Grandpa and grandchildren from Potsdam were warmly welcomed by the landlady and attentively looked after throughout their vacation. The quiet location of the guesthouse—rooms at the back—contributed to our relaxation. The landlady's service was outstandingly hospitable. Thank you for that. In this respect, the guesthouse is highly recommended—we would gladly return.

Beautifully renovated – but very noisy due to the main road. We stayed at the Hotel and Guesthouse am Schotten as part of an event. A room was booked for us. Our double room was renovated and tastefully furnished. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was perfectly adequate and delicious for a guesthouse. Unfortunately, our room was located directly on the main road. Even upon arrival at 8 p.m., it was clear: buses, trucks, tractors, and other vehicles drove by almost constantly. We tried to get a quieter room at the back – unfortunately, that wasn't possible that evening. In our opinion, a room facing the street is not suitable for noise-sensitive people. I personally could hardly sleep, as the traffic didn't really quiet down, even at night. Conclusion: Nice room, good breakfast, friendly service – but unfortunately very noisy. Anyone sensitive to traffic noise should definitely book a room at the back. Therefore, only three stars in the overall rating, although the rest certainly deserved more.

A very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. You immediately feel welcome here; everything is clean and well-organized. Highly recommended!
