Göttingen sunny and dry today – but from Monday the weather will turn

After the drop on Monday, the weather in Göttingen will initially remain changeable. For Tuesday (May 12), 13 degrees during the day and 2 degrees in the cooler hours are forecast; it may feel even colder with 12 and even minus 2 degrees. The risk of rain is 39 percent, the wind blows at 20 km/h from the west.

On Wednesday (May 13), temperatures rise again somewhat to 16 and 6 degrees, feels-like 15 and 3 degrees. At the same time, the risk of rain remains elevated at 61 percent, with wind around 20 km/h from the southwest.

On Thursday (May 14), the unsettled pattern continues: 16 degrees during the day and 6 degrees in the early or late hours, feels-like 16 and 4 degrees. The probability of precipitation rises to 77 percent, the wind comes at 15 km/h from WSW.

The forecast thus draws a clear line: the weekend will bring the friendliest conditions of the coming days in Göttingen – from Monday, cooler air and a significantly higher risk of showers and rain will dominate. Those starting the week will be better off with a rain jacket and warmer layers than with light spring clothing.
